CHATSWOOD SOCIAL CLUB

Social club for adults with an intellectual disability

Chatswood Social Club is a social group for adults with an intellectual disability, who have low support needs, living on Sydney's (Australia) North Shore.

Working towards fun, friendship and creative recreation
The Chatswood Social Club is based in Chatswood, Sydney, Australia. At the club we organise recreation activities and outings for adults aged 18-65 with an intellectual disability, who have low support needs.

We are committed to organising activities that are fun and exciting. Our staff and members are dedicated and enthusiastic people, always there for support.

We offer activities such as craft, sport, drama, indoor games, cooking, theme parties, dances and life-skills workshops.

We also offer a variety of outings which take place as part of our normal program or on Saturdays. We go to venues such as cinemas, zoos, sporting events and other places of interest.

When and where we meet ....
We generally meet on Tuesdays from 6pm to 9pm and sometimes we go on an outing on a Saturday. Our club is located at the Chatswood Youth Centre, on the corner of Albert Avenue and Victor Street (opposite the Mandarin Centre) in Chatswood.

Cost...
There is a $1 Access fee every time you come to the club. There are additional costs (shown in each month's program) for some activities and outings.
